YES, we are up and running.....(kind of)
Well we love and hate technology right? Without it, there is no possible way we could be doing what we are doing [On Line Auction], but at times it causes me major stress. For some reason we have a few technical difficulties, that haven't quite been all worked out yet---BUT you CAN still peruse through the items. If for some reason there is no link (I am working on that)---then you can find that item through the archives. It is there...might just have to look--until my computer decides to cooperate. Are you serious about that kitchen remodel you have always talked about??? Well you can make it happen!At Kitchen Liberty, we have a 3 appointment approach to getting you the Kitchen or Bath of your dreams.
During the first appointment, we take 90 minutes to inteview you to find out your needs, hopes and dreams for your new space. We measure the current space and take pictures so we will have impressive before and afters shots.
Do not clean for us, we want to see your space in the way you live in it.
We will give you immediate feedback as to how things will improve.
In between the first and second appointment, we are busy sketching with old fashioned pencil and paper 6-8 different options for the new kitchen or bath.
Then we come back to you for a 2nd appointment called "The Contractor Brainstorm" where we review the options that we sketched up with a skilled labor professional on hand. This professional is there so that we can make sure we are not going "off the deep end" with our creativity. Sometimes this contractor has ideas that we did not even see.
At the 2nd appointment, you are sure to fall in love with at least one of our ideas, you'll make changes, want to add a few things, take away others.
The work is not done yet.
At the 3rd appt, called "Final Plan Delivery" where we deliver the final plan for your new kitchen or bath complete with 3D images. At this appointment you will choose your cabinets and make a 50% downpayment.

It's {finally} here...our first auction to raise money to bring our little girl home from Ethiopia!!
First of all, let me just say a big thank you to those of you who have been followers of this little blog in the last year. Next, a big WELCOME to those of you who are visiting from another blog that you follow or for the first time from facebook. In this blog, I write about adoption, family, funny observations and life in general from my "BLESSED by Christ" perspective. :) If you like what you see, feel free to follow...we love friends! :)
And, last, but not least, I have to give a shout out to my amazing creative friends and bloggy buddies who donated their goods to make this auction possible...THANK YOU!
So, on to the reason you are here...our Adoption Auction. I am SO excited for this auction! We have been given some awesome donations from some great friends and from people who we've never even met!
Here's how the auction will work:1. Peruse the AWESOME items that are for sale during the auction (August 29th, 2011 at midnight through September 7th (extended two extra days because of initial tech trouble), 2011 at 11:59 p.m, central standard time).
2. Find the items you would like to bid on and leave a comment* with your bid, name, and e-mail address. (Your bid on most items will include shipping from Missouri, so please keep that in mind as you place it! :)) And keep coming back to check on your bids.
3. If you win, I will send you an E-mail requesting payment for the item and/or information about your requests (if the item is custom-made). Upon receiving payment via check or paypal, I will ship the item to you!
That's it...super easy! And, every last penny that you spend will go directly into our adoption fund. Our overall expense is around $26,000. So far we've raised/had donated close to $13,300. Right over 50%! We are excited to see where this auction will place us on the financial portion of our adoption road!!
