Aside from my love for alliteration, Strickland Sentiments was born out of the desire to share my passion and feelings on my favorite subject matter: my family.

Chris & I met in college. We almost let each other slip away, because it was at the end of our college days that we finally started dating---I am so glad we didn't get away from each other. I married my best friend on March 26, 1999. I was attracted to his humility, sensitivity and the way he led others to worship our Lord & Savior (not to mention the red hair, blue eyes, & sincere smile). We have served in ministry together since before we were married in Seneca, MO, Glendale, AZ, Branson, MO, and Washington, MO. We love to make each other laugh, go on long drives, travel & site see, and eat out. I'm a preacher's wife & he's a teacher's husband. We welcomed Eden into our lives in 2003, Eli in 2005, Tobe in 2008 and after our 3 year faith filled journey brought home Chloe Dibora from Ethiopia in 2013. We are passionate about Jesus, family, and adoption (which all go along together well). I also enjoy running, scrapbooking/photo taking, and Sonic's Rt 44 Dr.Pepper with lemon wedges.
